In February 2021, the Cévennes Méditerranée tourism office in Ganges, the Cévennes & Navacelles tourism office in Le Vigan and the Mont Aigoual Causses Cévennes tourist office in Val d’Aigoual will join forces to form the Sud Cévennes tourism office network, bringing together a single voice for this region with such a strong identity.
The Sud Cévennes destination chose Wild&Slow as a partner to set up a brand platform as an outreach tool.

If you were an animal, which would you choose?
That’s one of the questions we asked our client, the Sud Cévennes group of tourism offices, as part of the workshops they held to design their visual identity.
When they mentioned the mouflon, it immediately struck us as a perfect representation of the unexpected. A symbol of purity and freedom, it represents a form of tourism that’s not based on the “money back guarantee”. Encountering a mouflon is magical, unpredictable and worth the effort. It makes sense, because this territory was born of a long-standing love affair between man and nature. Here, travel changes us, leaving its mark on our memories, our consciences, our hearts and our bodies.
Because with travel comes understanding.
It’s this model of gentle, soothing tourism that is protected by our customer. A model that draws on the region’s human and natural riches, while taking care never to distort them.

We used a co-construction method involving local stakeholders to design the visual identity for “Sud Cévennes, Rencontre Sauvage”.
